The second one has a funny story. I had put Issy to bed in my room at naptime the other day and about five minutes later i decided that i had cold feet and was going to put some socks on. So i snuck in my room and instead of Issy on the bed, there was a big lump of blankets and a little tail sticking out the end. Ewok often sleeps with Issy, so i wasn't surprised about the tail, but i was a little bit concerned she couldn't breathe, so i decided to dig her out. And i sifted through the covers and pulled and tugged and she had really wedged herself in there under the covers. After i finally dug her out (and managed not to wake her) i took a picture. And this is it :)
I have a husband who is my best friend, my highschool sweetheart and who I am still crazy in love with after almost 15 years together. We have babies... five beautiful, stubborn, imaginative, strong-willed little ones who challenge my wits and sanity every day. I am a lover of God, of birth, of life, of the forest and mountains, of wheat fields. I create things with yarn, needles, my heart and my hands. I am me.

He grows!
And today he tried his first taste of solid food... sweet potato. The actual eating part didn't produce much, but he had a good time squishing it in his fists ;) My little boy grows too quickly!

My Issy's birthday!

Well, it isn't until tomorrow, but since she is having a party tomorrow night and i will frantically be cleaning and getting ready till the last minute, so i thought i would post this now when i have the time to procrastinate. My baby girl is going to be four! Four! It seems like she was just born (and then i remember that i have had two others since then). Ahhhh, i remember the expectation, the anticipation, how hard those first few sleep deprived weeks are. Amazing the journey she has taken us on. Having her made me a Mama, a woman. So miraculous. Such a sweet (and sometimes ornery) gift. She teaches me new things everyday. She is such a sweet little soul and i am so happy i was chosen for her :)

Little bit of knitting, loooots of cute kids!
Liam has two teeth now and the crawling is old hat now. Now he is trying to pull himself up on things! Apparently he didn't get the memo that he is only 6 (well, almost seven) months old!

Good things
I was putting Liam to sleep tonight. He was being restless nursing, so i snuggled him up and took him to the room and just held him. He was just asleep in my arms. And it was good. I wish i could capture that moment it time and put it in a bottle. Time goes by too quickly

First real trip outside
yarn and finished sweaters and capris
The one skein is bamboo in different shades of browns and gray and cream. I am going to make a Dream Swatch Headband. That is, after Easter. The yellowish peachy yarn is for a Tea Party Dress for Issy and the blue is for vests for the boys. I am going to have to knit a lot for the next few weeks to finish it though... less time for cleaning ;)
The Easy Peasy, newborn size. It sure knits up a lot faster when you aren't doing a 2T Just need to weave in ends and put on buttons. I love the way it turned out
