Living and Dining Rooms

To continue our house tour:  This is taken from the front entryway:  The big doors go out to the back deck and the hallway leads to the bedrooms
This is our current dining room.  This was also taken from the front entryway, just looking to the left instead of the right.  The doorway at the right edge of this picture leads to the kitchen.  Someday I would like to paint this room, as I am not overly fond of this particular shade of yellow.  And the table needs revamping for this space.  And non-folding chairs.  Oh well, at least we have plenty of projects to keep us busy?

Very nice! When you're done with pictures of the house, you should post them all in one spot so we can all take a total "house tour." I am really enjoying seeing how life is unfolding for you guys!

Nice! I always enjoy getting a peek into others' houses. ;-D
Looks like you've got lots of great space to work with. Remind me if you have a basement?

We do have a basement. Two finished bedrooms (well, one is not technically a bedroom because it doesn't have an escape window. but two rooms) and a finished bathroom in the basement. One room is currently a toy room and the other is a guest room that has all my sewing stuff in it.

The "family room" down there has faux wood paneling (yikes!) but there is no ceiling or flooring. Joe is framing in a utility room and a storage room. And we are going to finish off the family room in the basement. And paint the wood paneling :)

The family room down there is very generously sized, so that is exciting. We will put the desk and TV down there when it is done. I like having the main floor be a "quiet" space. Well, as quiet as it can get with 5 kids :)
